Apparently according to French sources the move for Rod Fanni has broken down due to the players wage demands. The move is not completely dead as discussions are still happening but move is now in doubt and looks unlikely.

1.) Shame, no one likes a broken down fani!

Pearson confirmed radio that they are continuing to look for players to sign. He announced that he wants to accelerate and push through the cambiasso deal whilst they search for more midfielders and strikers. This is no surprise due to the injuries suffered to Drinkwater (CM), James (CM), Albrighton (RM) and Vardy (ST) for varied periods of time.

1.) Albrighton and Vardy are back in training today (Tuesday 19th) and should be in contention for Saturday away at Chelsea. Pearson is still looking for depth in Midfield, Defence and Attack, this is due to lack of depth which leads to lack of quality options if injuries occur. The loan market is also different in the league so pearson is looking to act now.

According to a few national newspapers Leicester are back in the hunt for Watford striker Troy Deeney. Leicester have seen two bids of 6.5 and 7.5 million rejected by the Hornets who are holding out for a fee closer to the 10 million pound mark. This fee would see City break their record transfer fee again this summer taking their spending to 18 million in total. QPR who are also interested have seen a bid rejected as Harry tries to improve his team who scraped through the Championship last season.

1.) ** believe the deal will be done by the end of the week in time for the Everton game, if the deal is to go ahead at all. Watford have left Deeney out of their starting 11 and subs for their League Cup game vs Stevenage. Whether or not he has been left out to save himself for saturday for Watford or to prevent injury which would prevent a possible deal to fall through.

2.) Third offer of 10 mill turned down time to look else where nigel better players out there and cheaper i.e wickam. jim lcfc

3.) Looks like the sports website was wrong (talk sport) were wrong although local newspaper editor Rob Tanner (Leicester Mercury) believes we have had a 10 million bid rejected which could have rised to 12 million. We have been told he is not for sale at any price.

The express sport are reporting that Leeds defender Sam Byram is a target for Leicester with a host of other high profile teams monitoring the situation. Although no bid has been placed or interest in the player has confirmed the express believe the player to be on City's radar. Southampton have made the first move but have seen their 4.5 million pound rejected for the youngster. This bid will not be Southampton's last and could see an increased amount of interest in the player.

Leicester have signed 16 year old Aaron Hassall from Welsh Premier League side Airbus FC. Hassall had been on trial for a week with the Foxes, this trial was successful and lead the Foxes to offer a proffessional contract to the youngster. Hassall who turns 17 later this month will be part of the development squad for the upcoming season. This move see's Airbus recieving a five figure transfer fee.

West Ham have seen a 4.5 million pound bid for City target Connor Wickham rejected by Sunderland. Leicester have recently been linked with the contract rebel who turned down an offer of a new contract earlier this summer. Sunderland are still keen for the striker to sign new terms as he has only 1 year left on his current deal. Although no official interest or bid placed it seems unlikely that City will win the battle to land his signature even if a bid is accepted due to the stature of others clubs linked.

Well every game last season and this season, maybe his form drops a little but it doesn't mean he's terrible.

Completely disagree, been one of our best players recently in the Premier League. Has shown his quality as well as being the clubs highest scoring midfielder at the age of 25.
