There's so many similar players there. Some are slightly better but I don't see much different between our youngsters and yours. They all have equal ability

Please, please put a name to whoever posted that ridiculous comment above, lmfao I haven't laughed so much for years, did your mate bet you a pint to post that on here?
that post just tops anything a forest fan has ever quoted before on here since I joined this site well done.
please share with us who you are please reveal, lol.
you forgot the obvious, our players are all premier league for a reason, yours are all championship players for a reason, speaks volumes don't you think?

2.) 14 Nov 2014
Haha I agree, ridiculous post :') as much as I think that. I think it was meant for the previous thread replying to horned fox

3.) 14 Nov 2014
Back to the championship next season, then he can re-post

4.) 16 Nov 2014
Lol, if they had equal ability forest would have kept pace with us last season and would be around the top of the championship now - deluded to put yourself on a par, and the stats and results prove it

Forest poster, whilst I appreciate, applaud and share your dedication, blind loyalty and faith in your team; of the players you mentioned above, they have collectively only made 54 appearances in the premier league with only 3 of the players graduating at Premier League academies. 40 of those premier league appearances were made by Michael Mancienne in his ill-fated spell at Wolves with the 14 remaining appearances being made up by squad players Lansbury (who made 3 appearances for Arsenal) and Tom Ince (who made 8 for Palace and 3 for Hull, his name having been made at Championship level). The rest of those mentioned have mostly plied their trade in League one or lower and three of those mentioned are only with you whilst their loans to their parent clubs are in place (Darlow & Lascelles to Newcastle and Ince to Hull). None of the players in your list have been capped at international level whilst 2 have made substitute appearances in european competition including Mancienne again whilst for Chelsea, as he is clearly the most accomplished of the players you mention.

From the Leicester players mentioned, there are 4 who have come through at premier league clubs (Schmeichel, De Laat, James and Drinkwater) with Schmeicel and De Laat having already been capped by their respective countries. Whilst not in the premier league when they first came through, we also boast proven academy products in England U21 Liam Moore, Welsh Captain Andy King and Ghanian Jeff Schlupp (not on your list they are already established internationals, the latter having been considered by Fergie as a purchase for Man Utd just prior to his retirement). In fact our academy has been recognised by FIFA/The FA as one of the top academies in the country. In our wider squad, we have 8 former Man Utd graduates in our current squad with De Laat, Simpson, Rowley, Drinkwater, Powell, James, Lawrence and Barmby having all spent time at Old Trafford. You have included Morgan in your list (strangely) who is far from a youngster, but unlike any of the Forest players you mention, he has at least been capped 10 times by Jamaica. Mahrez and Knockeart both came through in France and Mahrez starred in the worldcup for Algeria as we successfully beat off interest from Newcastle for Knockeart last season whilst you were forced to sell Darlow and Lascelles to the same club to fuel this year’s transfer budget.

So in conclusion, I (as well as the stats) disagree

Incidentally, before you reply, as well as these promising yougsters we also have plenty of premiership exerience in the ranks with Nugent having made 73 premier appearances before Leicester, Konchesky having made 331, Upson making 285 premier league appearances so far, Marc Albrighton making 107 for Aston Villa, Gary Taylor Fletcher making 32 at Blackpool and of course Esteban Cambiasso with 23 titles to his name, 52 Argentina caps and almost 500 top flight appearances on his own - that's over 1,000 top division appearances shared between 6 players.

Couldn't have put it better myself horned Fox, well said.
I don't think we will hear from that poster again after that bizzaar comment he made anyway, and with Joel Campbell on our radar gives us 1 more players with premier league experience too.
